Required Qualifications

• Valid teaching licence such as PGCE, QTS or a US teaching licence
• Relevant bachelor's degree and recognised teaching qualification
• Minimum of three years' teaching experience
• Experience teaching within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is advantageous
• Experience working within an international school environment is beneficial
• Experience supporting learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds

• Ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons
• Strong understanding of the IB MYP framework and inquiry-based learning approaches
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Confident use of educational technology to enhance learning outcomes
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to positive discipline practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to monitor student progress and use assessment data to inform teaching
• Commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development
• Collaborative approach to working with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
• Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports and fulfil professional responsibilities
