About the role

AI Engineering Lead – One Tech, Milan

Location: Milan, Italy – full time, on site

Responsibilities

• The AI layer of our products – agents, document processing, identity verification, intelligent automation
• Lead and grow a team of junior developers, including hiring and guidance
• Own end-to-end delivery from architecture decisions to production
• Establish technical standards across AI and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Collaborate directly with founders on product strategy and roadmap

Qualifications

• Senior engineer who has led a team and delivered products rather than just features
• Deep knowledge of AI systems – agents, large language models, document intelligence, cloud‑native architecture
• Proven ownership, efficiency, and result‑oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills, able to align technical and business priorities
• Track record of tangible results, not just experience
