Are you a project planning specialist with strong experience in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and complex engineering, EPC, construction, marine or process industry environments?
This is an opportunity to join a growing international software company providing advanced digital solutions to the marine, process, construction and engineering sectors. The business is well established globally, with customers across multiple countries, and is continuing to expand its Customer Success team in Italy.
We are looking for a Senior Application Specialist to act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them implement, configure and get the best value from a project management software solution integrated with Oracle Primavera and Microsoft Project.
This is a highly visible, client-facing role combining technical consulting, project planning expertise, software implementation, customer success, product demonstrations, training and product feedback.
What you will be doing
You will work closely with customers to understand their project planning needs, support implementation and integration, deliver advanced product guidance, and help clients use the software effectively across complex project environments.
You will also act as a bridge between customers and internal product / development teams, translating real client needs into actionable product insights and improvements.
· Supporting customers with implementation, configuration and advanced use of project planning software.
· Working with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project in complex planning environments.
· Helping customers manage schedules, project progress, weighting systems and schedule quality.
· Acting as a trusted technical consultant and subject matter expert for key customers.
· Delivering product demonstrations, training and advanced customer support.
· Supporting pre-sales activities alongside the sales team.
· Gathering customer feedback and contributing to product development priorities.
· Managing multiple client engagements and building long-term customer relationships.
What we are looking for
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
· Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
· Experience in large-scale project planning, ideally in EPC, engineering, construction, marine, process industries or complex technical environments.
· A strong understanding of CPM planning, schedule quality, project progress monitoring and project controls.
· Experience in a client-facing, implementation, technical consulting, customer success or advanced application support role.
· The ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions, software requirements and product feedback.
· Strong professional communication skills in Italian and English.
· A proactive, hands-on and problem-solving mindset.

Role details
Salary: EUR 40,000-60,000, depending on experience
Location: Remote
Travel: Occasional customer travel may be required
