Overview
Would you like to actively manage and optimize a portfolio of assets while contributing to value creation in an international company driving the green transition?
At Renewable Energy Company (RECO), we are looking for a Senior Asset Manager to oversee the performance and value creation of our renewable energy assets. Working closely with commercial, technical, and operational teams, you will monitor asset performance, coordinate key stakeholders, and identify opportunities to optimize operational and financial outcomes across the portfolio.
You will report to the Country Director and become part of an international environment with strong expertise in energy investments.

We develop, own, and operate solar energy plants in Europe and Japan and work purposefully to accelerate the green transition through the development and optimization of our portfolio of energy projects.

Your role
As an Asset Manager, you will play an important role in overseeing the performance of our asset portfolio and working closely with commercial, technical, and operational teams. You will monitor operational performance, provide insights on asset optimization, and support initiatives that enhance value creation while proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
Your primary responsibilities:
- Commercial Asset Management services
- Drive and propose prioritisation of project-level improvement initiatives within agreed budgets
- Management of relationship with institutional agencies (GSE, E-distribution etc.)
- Procuring, obtaining and maintaining relevant insurances, including liaising with insurers as required;
- Liaising with Technical Asset Managers who are responsible for the effective supervision, and monitoring of the operation and maintenance services in order to maximize generation revenues;
- Preparing monthly/quarterly unaudited management reports in respect of the relevant projects
- Forecasting project spend, including approval of project related invoices
- Maintain and clean up master data to ensure a consistent overview of all relevant contracts
Who are you?
We imagine that you have experience from a role where you work closely with commercial, technical, or operational teams and enjoy translating operational and financial data into insights that support asset performance and value creation.
In addition, we would like you to have:
- Degree in business, finance, accounting or other relevant discipline
- Experience in Asset Management including stakeholder management
- Preferably, experience within administration of solar parks or other renewable assets
- Experience of dealing with contracts along with proven ability to liaise with and manage/monitor contractors
- Experience in budget management; including monitoring and reporting
- Italian/English Language capabilities
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and thriving with distance management
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite

- Ability to work independently but also as part of a global team (team player)
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem solving skills
