We are delighted to be supporting a well‑established operator, air charter, and management service provider to source a Senior CAMO Engineer on a permanent basis based in the Mediterranean.
Reporting directly to the CAMO Manager you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and reviewing of the airworthiness and technical performance of the client’s fleet of aircraft. You will interact with internal/external stake holders to maximize operational availability whilst minimizing operation disruption by the efficient management and support of the following specific responsibilities and activities.
Responsibilities:
The supervision of the maintenance activities performed by the contracted maintenance organizations
The evaluation, recommendation, and instruction on the implementation of regulatory requirements and Manufacturers recommendations including support of the implementation phase
Provide recommendations for aircraft and equipment modification programs and monitor their effectiveness
The active involvement in the establishment, revision, and optimization of maintenance programs
The tracking and evaluating reliability data of systems, structure, and components.
Recommendation of appropriate corrective/mitigating actions
The support systems, components and structures defect assessments and rectification
Minimum Skills and Experience:
Completed engineering or technical training in the field of mechanical engineering, preferably in aerospace or electrical engineering, or qualified as an aircraft mechanic or electrician with several years of professional experience.
Extensive technical knowledge and several years of professional experience in the maintenance of aircraft in the maintenance area / overhaul area
Knowledge of AMOS is a plus
Knowledge of aircraft and maintenance documentation including aviation legislation EASA Part[1]CAMO
Fluent written and spoken English is essential
