Job ID: | Amazon Digital Italy s.r.l. Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies with insights into the right content at the right time. Prime Video operates in over 240 countries and territories worldwide and provides Originals and Exclusive content, live sports, add-on channels, and rental/buy options for new releases. We are looking for a Senior Categorisation Manager to support growth in Italy and to own programs related to content presentation and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage content merchandising strategies across owned and operated Prime Video channels, collaborating with Content, Programming, Marketing and Product teams to surface the right content to the right customer through the right channel at the right time.
- Build and maintain scalable frameworks to define and optimise content placement across Amazon Marketing resources to improve customer experiences and drive business outcomes.
- Support the Head of Programming in building a cohesive content schedule across all Prime Video content verticals, identifying, documenting and prioritising content release and surfacing plans for customers in Italy.
- Act as the custodian of the local customer experience across marketing channels, developing and scaling Walk The Store/CX improvement programs.
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of categorisation and merchandising strategies through monitoring engagement and product metrics, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to boost customer engagement locally by optimising storefront and marketing resourcing, evaluating new opportunities, building new mechanisms, and running tests to inform product development.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritising tasks
- Experienced in conducting quantitative analysis using Excel or similar tools
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce, digital products or entertainment industries
- Technically proficient, able to independently analyse data. Familiarity with SQL
