Your Next OpportunityAt Area Brokers Industria , part of the PIB Group , we are looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to support the Chief Operating & Business Management Officer in ensuring full regulatory compliance and managing operational risk. This role plays a key part in strengthening internal governance and driving business growth.This is a strategic and cross-functional position, ideal for someone with mature experience in the insurance sector who brings together a strategic mindset, deep regulatory expertise, and strong interpersonal skills – all within an international and fast-evolving environment.What You Will Do – Your Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic and Operational Compliance: Ensure effective implementation of compliance policies and frameworks from PIB Group and the Italian division, overseeing their application within business processes.Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with IVASS obligations and European regulations (IDD, AMLD, DORA, etc.), monitor regulatory developments, and coordinate updates to internal procedures.Reporting & Internal Controls: Manage internal control systems, regulatory reporting, and audit activities, providing accurate and timely information to both Italian and European management and Group stakeholders.M&A Compliance: Lead legal and compliance workstreams during due diligence and post-acquisition integration, assessing the regulatory profile of acquisition targets.Insurance Contracting: Oversee contract management with clients, insurers, commercial partners, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with regulations and Group policies.Advisory & Training: Serve as the go-to expert for complex regulatory matters and conduct training sessions on compliance and risk management best practices.Who We Are Looking For – Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in compliance or risk management roles, preferably in insurance, banking, or consulting.In-depth knowledge of IVASS regulations and key European frameworks (IDD, AMLD, DORA).Proven ability to implement effective compliance systems, manage regulatory changes, and support M&A transactions.Strong autonomy, rigor, and results orientation, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with digital tools for regulatory monitoring and risk management.Fluency in Italian and English (other languages are a plus).Why Join ABI – What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and market standards.Access to international know-how and resources through PIB Group.Structured paths for continuous learning and industry certifications.Flexible corporate welfare, meal vouchers, Babbel language platform, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support personal and professional well-being.About UsFounded in 1997, Area Brokers Industria S.p.A. is one of Italy’s most respected insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firms.
