Key Responsibilities
- Deliver project activities under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, ensuring high-quality outputs, adherence to deadlines, and effective issue resolution, including troubleshooting, conflict management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions and post-M&A operations, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Define and implement project governance frameworks, including steering committees, reporting structures, and escalation processes.
- Monitor project progress against key milestones, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation actions.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates to senior stakeholders, including executive committees.
- Support the management of finance-oriented projects, coordinating internal and external teams, with exposure to Finance, Investment, Actuarial, Risk, Portfolio, and Claims streams.
- Establish best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for M&A execution and project management within the organization.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Take ownership of small and mid-sized workstreams, supporting management consultants in preparing and presenting results to clients.
- Participate actively in business development, including the preparation of project proposals and pitches.
- Interface with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and TSA committees.
- Contribute to thought leadership and internal knowledge development within the M&A practice.
- Discuss with the Engagement Manager potential future client needs—particularly in the areas of Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Portfolio, and Claims streams.
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Management Engineering or related fields.
- Knowledge of one or more domains such as Insurance/Claims, Finance, Investment, Actuarial, Risk, IT Management or Data Management.
- Familiarity with topics related to M&A, post-M&A, TSA services, and migration between companies.
- For Consultant roles: 3–5 years of experience in consulting firms or insurance companies (local or multinational).
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint (structured presentation building) and Excel.
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Nice To Have
- Experience in big consultancy firms.
- Experience in the insurance sector and understanding of performance steering in Finance or technical functions.
- Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2).
- Experience in international or multicultural environments, ideally within management consulting.
- International academic or professional experience
- Familiarity with concepts such as AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, cloud computing, data transformation, and RPA.
