Senior Consultant – Operational Excellence

TNP is looking for motivated talents to join our consulting teams as Senior Consultant (4-5 years of experience) and contribute mainly to projects in the Automotive sector, as well as other industries such as Fashion & Luxury, Retail, Pharma, etc. You will participate to consulting missions related to supply chain, warehouse activities, customer experience, digital transformation across different sectors, while developing your project management skills . In addition, you will participate in the business development of the first TNP office in Italy, supporting its growth on the market.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As a Senior Consultant, you will be accountable for leading operational excellence initiatives with a strong analytical and data-driven foundation , particularly in logistics, warehouse operations and planning:

• Analyse existing warehouse, logistics, supply chain and planning processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and performance improvement levers (through data analysis, on-site observations and workshops).
• Structure, clean and analyse operational datasets (e.g. flows, inventories, lead times, capacities, service levels).
• Quantify expected results in terms of cost reduction, inventory optimization, service level improvement, productivity increase and planning accuracy .
• Design and propose process redesigns and optimization solutions , jointly validating transformation roadmaps with clients.
• Leverage advanced analytics and data science techniques (e.g. statistical analysis, scenario simulation, forecasting models, optimization logic) to support decision-making.
• Develop dashboards and performance monitoring systems (KPIs, control towers, operational cockpits).
• Manage, coordinate and motivate consulting teams, ensuring quality, delivery and impact.
• Coach client teams to adopt data-driven ways of working and achieve sustainable results.
• Ensure top management satisfaction by delivering tangible value and meeting milestones.
• Contribute to the development of TNP’s know-how at the intersection of operational excellence and data analytics

Business Development

Preparation and strategical study of sector/client stakes, benchmarking, and evaluation of external partnerships.

Communication & Marketing

Participation to brand awareness improvement through social media strategy and content creation, participation and organization of events.

WHO YOU ARE

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in operational excellence, supply chain, logistics or planning projects within consulting firms, industrial or service companies.
• Strong experience in process optimization (warehouse operations, logistics flows, inventory management, planning, lead time and cost optimization).
• Solid understanding of supply chain and operational processes across functions (logistics, purchasing, production, planning).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word .
• Good knowledge of analytics and data science tools (e.g. Python for data analysis and modeling) is a strong plus.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is highly appreciated.
• Ability to translate complex data analyses into clear operational insights and actionable recommendations .
• Proactive, autonomous and strongly results-oriented.
• Rigorous and pragmatic, with excellent analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork and people management capabilities.
• Excellent level of Italian and English; a third language (French, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
