As Senior Data Engineer at Satispay, you will shape and scale the next-generation data platform. You’ll design a Lakehouse-based architecture that integrates with Redshift, enabling high-performance analytics for analysts and business teams. You’ll empower self-service analytics, own the dbt framework and CI/CD practices, and lead reliable orchestration, streaming, and ML tooling. This role blends platform engineering with governance, security, and mentorship in a fast-paced fintech environment. You’ll have a clear impact on data quality, speed, and empowering data-driven decisions across the organization.

• Design and evolve the Data Lakehouse strategy with Redshift integration
• Own and scale dbt framework, CI/CD, and testing for analytics engineering

Responsibilities

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years designing and maintaining complex enterprise data platforms
• Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with batch and real-time streaming architectures
• Experience with data governance, quality, and observability
• Ability to design self-serve data tooling for Analysts
• Clear communication and stakeholder management in diverse teams
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Passion for FinTech or startup environments
