Senior Data Scientist — AI & RAG/LLM Systems

Shop Circle, a fast-growing AI-driven B2B software holding company on a mission to power the digital infrastructure of modern enterprises, is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join Circle X, its centralised AI team driving automation and embedding AI across the entire portfolio.

What you'll do:

• Experiment with and optimise ML models, building evaluation and benchmarking frameworks to ensure quality and improve performance across products
• Lead AI Due Diligence on potential acquisitions, assessing data advantage, AI replacement risks, technical feasibility, and defensibility
• Monitor model performance, accuracy, and ROI in production, optimising latency, cost, and reliability across the portfolio
• Build reusable ML components shared across multiple products
• Contribute to advanced LLM-based solutions and RAG systems — including retrieval, chunking, embeddings, and ranking — to maximise accuracy and reliability at scale

You're the right fit if:

• You hold a strong academic background in STEM disciplines
• You have 4–6 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on model development, evaluation, and applied ML
• You are proficient in Python, with solid experience in ML frameworks and libraries
• You are fluent in English, the primary language across the business
• Plus: experience with AWS Bedrock, and hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases, embedding/RAG techniques, or Generative AI more broadly
