Job Description :

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Visualization Specialist (Tableau, Power BI) to work remotely across Canada.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Manage and undertake large data analysis efforts, delivering high-quality results for multiple projects to meet critical business deadlines.
• Collaborate with management, business analysts, project managers, data scientists, data engineers, and business clients to gather requirements and develop BI solutions.
• Identify valuable data for decision-making, assess data collection feasibility, and explore methods for handling missing data.
• Provide evidence and context for metrics to demonstrate their value to decision-makers.
• Present methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations through reports and presentations to peers and management.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
• Create visualizations that effectively communicate complex insights and support business decisions.
• Adhere to brand standards for interface design, visualization techniques, and dashboards.
• Ensure data quality and integrity, monitor data issues, and perform query optimization and performance tuning in BI tools.
• Develop and deliver training on data visualization best practices using Tableau and Power BI.
• Promote storytelling and best practices in dashboard design and information delivery.
• Stay informed about industry trends, including AI and machine learning technologies.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Experience with human-centered data visualization design principles, with at least 3 years of recent hands-on experience.

Proven Experience In :

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a Data Visualist, Data Visualization Specialist, or similar role.
• Storytelling experience, with at least 3 years creating compelling data narratives.
• A track record of delivering high-quality visualizations that impact business outcomes, with at least 5 successful projects in the past 2 years.
• Extensive experience with Tableau or Power BI, with at least 5 years of hands-on use.
