YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructures using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning to improve efficiency and reliability
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimisation of cloud resources
- Manage networking, security groups, and IAM policies to maintain a secure cloud environment
- Work closely with developers, and IT teams to improve DevOps adoption and collaboration
- Develop and maintain robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment across multiple environments
- Optimise containerised deployments using Docker and orchestration tools ECS
- Implement and maintain centralised logging and monitoring solutions using Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch & Kibana)
- Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimise cloud resource usage and system performance
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar
- Previous professional experience in the role
- Strong background in managing AWS environments, including networking, security, and cost optimization
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certifications, Terraform Associate) are a plus
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources
- Proven track record in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD (or similar tools)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions, particularly using Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English, Italian and/or German knowledge is an advantage
