You will be part of the Cooking and Refrigeration Electronic System team within the Beko Europe Electronics team.
This role in summary
Beko Europe is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Senior Electronic System Engineer.
The role will be located at in Cassinetta, Italy.
In this role you will drive the specification and seamless integration of electrical and electronic control systems in final manufactured products, ovens and microwaves home appliances, from Concept through Production Validation delivering product leadership and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include
- System Integration of electrical and electronic components into home appliances, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.
- System Architecture Design Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design system architectures that meet the functional requirements of home appliances.
- Define Requirements for the Electrical and electronic control system
- Contribute to the Component Selection of electrical and electronic components such as hardware, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces for integration into appliances.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to ensure smooth integration and project execution.
- Define the right project strategy by driving discussions with the main internal and external stakeholders
- Clarify and agree on project scope and targets (Cost, Quality, Schedule)
- Drive strong project plan integration with internal and external stakeholders, align and agree on project gates and milestones
- Drive robust gates through Technical Design Reviews
- Follow Beko Europe Product Development process according to the project needs
- Risks and Knowledge Gaps management.
- Deliver projects with positive KPIs for each project milestone
- Contribute on the development of dFMEA (design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) action plans and updated Occurrence & Detection, based on Concept and Design Validation data and functional performance stacks
- Compliance and Safety Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and energy efficiency requirements throughout the development process.
- Contribute to drive full system validation through use of predictive validation methodologies in concept design and product validation stages
- Build of physical prototypes per V&V (Verification & Validation) Plan
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree on Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Computer Engineering with experience on electronics
- More than 5 years of proven experience in a product development role
- Experience in Project management
- Deep knowledge of embedded systems (HW and SW)
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems
- Exceptional problem solving approach
- Technical review abilities
- Leadership skills, ability to work cross-functionally and influence others
- Communication and negotiation skills

- Fluency in Italian and English
Preferred skills and experiences
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean approaches and frameworks (Jira)
- Project management experience with multiple sub systems involved
- Electronic Laboratory tools (Oscilloscope, State Analyzers, programming tools)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, others)
- Six Sigma certification (not mandatory)
- Experienced with PLM system tools
