We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer and integrator of energy storage solutions to find a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team in Italy. You’ll play a key role in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining BESS installations across the country - ensuring system reliability and peak performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and utility-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) .
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, testing, and grid integration phases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex field issues.
• Deliver technical training and guidance to clients and service partners.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of site activities, technical issues, and performance data.
• Ensure full compliance with safety and quality protocols during all field operations.

Qualifications:

• Have 3+ years of field engineering experience, ideally in energy storage , power electronics, or renewable energy systems.
• Understand key components of BESS, including inverters, battery modules, control systems, and communications protocols.
• Possess strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently in remote locations.
• Be fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
• Be flexible and open to regular travel across Italy (up to 50%) , including potentially occasional international assignments.
• Hold an electrical qualification or equivalent technical certification (preferred).
