Senior Financial Analyst - FinOps (f/m/d)

In this role you will build scalable financial data processes to support accounting operations, sourcing and transforming data from source systems and ERP tools to enable automated reconciliations and reporting for month-end close and other financial activities. You will serve as the technical execution engine of the Finance Data Squad, shaping how Finance Operations at Awin works and delivering end-to-end data pipelines and reconciliations. Flexi-Week (four-day) Flexi-office and hybrid/remote Remote working furniture allowance Health and wellbeing initiatives Awin Academy training suite Source and pre-transform accounting data from source systems, ERP and finance tools for bookings and close Build and maintain scalable data pipelines feeding accounting and reporting Ensure data inputs are accurate, traceable and auditable Design and build automated reconciliation processes between source systems, ERP and downstream reporting Investigate reconciliation breaks and escalate issues to team lead Refine requirements and manage delivery backlog for reconciliation and pipeline work Automate data manipulation to reduce manual work for accounting teams Support month-end close by maintaining data flows and reconciliations Flag data quality issues at source and coordinate with Data Engineering to fix upstream Proactively identify data gaps and inefficiencies and propose solutions Develop reporting for credit control, working capital, revenue reconciliation and controls Provide visibility into process drivers and anomalies for accountants Apply consistent data definitions and align source systems with ERP structures 3+ years experience in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics Solid understanding of close cycle, revenue recognition, reconciliations, working capital Ability to translate accounting requirements into data specs Strong stakeholder engagement to convert needs into technical specs Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong reconciliation and control focus Strong process improvement mindset and delivering reliable results Ability to structure complex financial data problems and communicate them to stakeholders Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Analytics related field Fluent English; another European language is advantageous Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Python is a plus Experience with ERP systems and financial data structures Understanding of data pipelines, data modelling; familiarity with Finance Data Warehouse concepts is a plus In this role you will build scalable financial data processes to support accounting operations, sourcing and transforming data from source s… #J-18808-Ljbffr
