Senior Financial Controller

SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Our client, a multinational company operating in the industrial manufacturing sector, is currently looking for a:

Key Tasks

• Responsible for month end close processes to finalise and analyse the accounts each month.
• Prepare and analyse various reports for management purposes each month explaining variances to forecast, budget and prior year as necessary.
• Submit monthly, quarterly and annual information into group.
• Prepare and submit annual budgets and monthly forecasts to a high level of detail.
• Prepare for in collaboration with the broader management team and attend the monthly Business Unit Review (BUR) with group, ensuring that the financial performance of the site each month is analysed and understood and presented in a clear and concise manner.
• Submit any regulatory required financial information to relevant parties including but not limited to: Corporate tax returns, VAT returns, Statutory accounts, Intrastat.
• Manage cash flows through forecasting payments and receipts, managing payments and receipts to the agreed level and co-ordinating with group treasury and the bank to ensure the liquidity of the company is as planned.
• Manage the control framework, ensuring that business and accounting processes are up to corporate standard. Implement improvements in the control framework as identified by internal audit and maintain these standards in between audits.
• Maintain costings of products in the ERP system to ensure accurate margins are reported and support the commercial team in managing margins and pricing decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics with a specialization in Finance and Controlling or comparable qualification/experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in the field of F&A as well as in-depth knowledge of modern financial management.
• Strong knowledge of the English language.
