Senior Lead Labour Lawyer, Italy & International Scope

Overview

In this role you will lead international employment law efforts for platform workers and couriers, shaping how Glovo navigates gig‑economy regulations across markets. You will collaborate with Product, Tech and Ops to mitigate risks and enable sustainable growth, acting as a go‑to specialist for management and Public Policy teams. You’ll monitor regulatory developments, devise defense strategies where needed, and support expansion with legal integrity at the core. This position offers impact across markets and a chance to influence the future of work at a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Italian qualified employment lawyer with at least 6 years of experience
• Experience in both law firm and corporate environments
• Litigation experience; familiarity with gig‑economy and platform‑work matters
• Knowledge of adjacent legal areas: social security, tax, data protection, immigration, contracts
• Excellent English and Italian communication; strong drafting and executive presentation skills
• Ability to influence others and thrive in fast‑paced, changing environments
