JR100360For our international portfolio company **FIAMM Energy Technology** we are looking for a**Senior Lean and Continuous Improvement Engineer** **(m/f/d)**This role is ideal for experienced operations, CI or automation specialists who want to broaden their scope across the full value stream as a **lateral step toward a future Plant Manager position**.FIAMM Energy Technology is a multinational manufacturer of automotive starter and industrial batteries, with key production sites in **Avezzano** and **Veronella**. Both plants are on a journey to upgrade to **state-of-the-art manufacturing operations**, improving OEE, labor productivity, quality, material efficiency and end-to-end flow.**Your Impact*** Further develop and update the **3–5-year manufacturing excellence roadmap** for Avezzano and Veronella.* Lead key improvement initiatives across the value stream (from pasting and curing to assembly, charging/finishing and logistics) with a focus on:
+ OEE and throughput
+ Labor productivity and line staffing
+ Scrap and quality losses
+ Material efficiency and design-to-cost* Implement and standardize **Lean / CI methods** (VSM, SMED, 5S, standard work, visual management, problem solving) and contribute to **manufacturing excellence standards and audits**.* Help teams frame **clear problem statements and business cases** for key initiatives, ensuring focus on value creation and sustainable results.* Shape and deliver the **automation roadmap** (robots/cobots, visual control systems, intralogistics and digital performance tools).* Strengthen **maintenance excellence** (PM/AM, reduced downtime, better asset utilization).* Coach plant leadership and teams, and help build a strong **continuous improvement culture** on the shop floor, capturing and sharing **best practices** between plants where relevant.**What You Bring*** Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering or Industrial Management.* **7–12+ years** in manufacturing operations, CI/OpEx and/or industrial automation in high-volume environments (e.g. automotive, batteries, components, process industries).* Proven track record of **end-to-end improvement projects** with measurable impact on cost, OEE, scrap and labor.* Practical experience with **Lean/CI** and performance management (tier meetings, KPIs, OEE dashboards).* Exposure to **automation and controls** (PLC/robot-based lines, cobots, vision systems or intralogistics solutions).* Strong influencing, communication and change skills; comfortable working from the **Gemba** with operators, technicians and managers.* Fluency in Italian and good command of English.**What We Offer*** A central expert role with direct access to the COO and plant leadership.* The chance to shape how two key FIAMM plants evolve to state-of-the-art operations.* A natural springboard into future Plant Manager or multi-site Operations roles within FIAMM. #J-18808-Ljbffr
