We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance Department in our business unit Bolton Food based in Italy.
How you make the difference
In this role, you will support plant maintenance operations by directing your teams while ensuring efficient operations through material procurement, spare‑parts inventory management, supplier oversight, budget control and strict compliance with safety, regulatory and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- You will manage the procurement and availability of maintenance materials, including spare parts, consumables and chemicals required for plant operations.
- You will oversee spare parts warehouses and ensure effective inventory management to support maintenance activities.
- You will coordinate internal technical teams and external contractors in the planning and execution of maintenance interventions.
- You will manage contracts with external suppliers operating on production plants, utilities and facilities, including planning, supervision and reporting of activities.
- You will monitor maintenance-related budgets (spare parts, consumables and external services), ensuring cost control and optimization.
- You will ensure proper documentation, traceability and compliance with regulatory, safety and audit requirements.
Team
- CMS Supervisor, responsible for spare parts, maintenance materials procurement and inventory management;
- Mechanical & Workshop Supervisor, responsible for workshop activities, in-house mechanical contracts and centralized plant systems;
- Contract & Calibration Specialist, responsible for managing external maintenance contracts, supplier coordination and calibration planning.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Previous experience in coordination roles and budget management.
- Good organizational and analytical skills, with attention to cost control and process efficiency.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments.
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, with strong proficiency in Excel.
