These companies are typically in special situations and undergo a repositioning and stabilization process before being sold again. Within our OPS team, we seek a team member with a proven track record in finance, a continuous improvement mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This role is based at portfolio companies across Europe, requiring on-site presence.

Your Tasks

• Manage restructuring and improvement processes at portfolio companies, focusing on cash management.
• Collaborate with local CFOs/CROs and TMO leads to develop turnaround strategies through financial analysis and business case assessment.
• Design and implement financing solutions such as factoring, asset-based funding, and credit lines.
• Enhance financial statement closing and other finance/controlling processes; assist with financial statements and audits.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and financial advisors.

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance from a reputable university or business school.
• 6-7 years of international experience in Big4, management consulting (preferably restructuring focus), or industry finance/controlling, especially in restructuring contexts.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with creativity, energy, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including financial modeling and cash forecasting; willingness to travel across Europe (typically Mon-Thu).
