Senior Manager (m/f/d) Operations

Your Impact
Lead and develop high‑performing teams , fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and empathetic, resilient leadership
Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, and HSE standards , promoting a strong safety culture and partnering closely with Quality and HSE functions to drive ongoing improvements
Oversee all plant operations , ensuring production targets for volume, quality, cost, and delivery are met while managing complex, fast‑changing environments and maintaining efficient end‑to‑end production flows
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement , applying structured Lean tools, leading improvement initiatives, and embedding a data‑driven problem‑solving mindset across the organization
Manage key operational stakeholders , including proactive and reactive maintenance (TPM), and maintain constructive relationships with the Workers Council in collaboration with HR
Your Experience and Qualifications
Extensive experience in industrial and manufacturing operations , ideally in complex metal‑mechanical environments, with strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly processes as well as end‑to‑end production flow and capacity management
Proven leadership capability
in managing and developing multi‑level teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and performance in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments, including experience with Italian labor laws and Workers Council relations
Strong operational excellence mindset , with hands‑on expertise in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and the ability to drive performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery KPIs
Highly analytical and resilient , with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, able to navigate complexity, operational stress, and dynamic industrial settings effectively
Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills , experienced in multinational and matrix organizations, with advanced English and fluent Italian proficiency as well as the ability to work effectively with corporate and international stakeholders
Our Workplace This role follows AGCO’s on‑site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 5 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.
