Traent is an Italian deep-tech company headquartered in Milan, with R&D in Pisa and an office in London. Founded in 2020, we build the infrastructure that gives digital actions, AI decisions, and tokenized assets the same legal weight, auditability, and enforceability as their physical-world counterparts. Our Legal Twin is a blockchain-based trust infrastructure that turns any process, asset, or organization into a legally-binding digital twin — every action notarized, every state transition verifiable, every actor identified, every right enforceable across jurisdictions. Our Full-Stack Tokenization platform covers the entire lifecycle of a digital instrument: identity, governance, compliance, lifecycle automation, secondary-market readiness, and native regulatory mirroring.
The proprietary stack behind these categories includes the Vault (immutable storage), the T-827 Global Legal Twin Standard, Conditioned Transparency (selective disclosure infrastructure), Notarized AI Agents, and the Chain of Tokens architecture. To date, Traent has invested over €22M in R&D, holds 8 international patents, has produced 10+ IEEE/ACM peer-reviewed publications, and was selected for the first European cohort of the EU Blockchain Sandbox. We are also developing Traent Nexum — horizontal AI interoperability infrastructure for the agent economy.
Our thesis is simple: the next foundational layer of the internet will not be data — it will be trust.
The Role
We are hiring a Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to own how Traent's Trust Infrastructure and two categories — Legal Twin and Full-Stack Tokenization — are introduced, understood, and adopted by regulators, financial institutions, sovereign clients, real-estate developers, and the broader institutional market. You will report to the Commercial Director, with a direct line to the CEO, and operate as the senior individual contributor leading the function, with a clear path to Director-level as the team scales.
This is a category-creation mandate, not a campaign-management role.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve Traent's brand strategy and category-creation narrative, positioning the company as the inventor of the Legal Twin and Full-Stack Tokenization — the AI-driven trust infrastructure for real estate, real-world assets, and the broader institutional market.
- Build the content architecture for our institutional audiences — regulators, sovereign clients, financial institutions, real-estate developers, government bodies, and the technical community — and produce the whitepapers, technical papers, executive briefings, sales decks, and editorial that move each one.
- Architect, orchestrate, and operate AI agent workflows as your daily mode of execution: content production, market intelligence, account research, customer profiling, sales-enablement collateral, multilingual localization, social operations, and brand monitoring.
- Lead RE/RWA/Tokenization conference and event marketing across MIPIM, MAPIC, PropTech Connect, financial and ECB-related forums, and EU policy events.
Run digital marketing, paid media, and analytics with an AI-native tooling stack — instrument everything, attribute everything.
- Lead PR and media relations across Italian, UK, and EU institutional press.
- Produce institutional-grade sales enablement (teasers, pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies) at the cadence required by a fast-moving commercial team.
- Support government-relations communications across EU, sovereign, and regulatory engagements.
- Run internal communications and employer branding, and oversee brand identity and the visual system.
What we're looking for
- Absolute mastery of AI orchestration is non-negotiable. Traent operates on frontier LLMs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and agentic workflows end-to-end. We are not looking for someone who "uses AI tools." We are looking for someone who designs, deploys, and supervises multi-agent systems for content, research, analytics, and operations — and can show concrete work produced this way.
- 6–10+ years in B2B marketing and communications, ideally in deep-tech, fintech, regtech, blockchain, AI, RE/RWA, finance, or institutional/enterprise software.
- A demonstrated track record with institutional and regulatory audiences — financial institutions, regulators, governments, or sovereign entities.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Italian is a plus, not a requirement.
- Strong storytelling capability across complex technical, legal, and financial subject matter. You can hold your own in a conversation about MiCA, MiFID II, tokenized RWAs, and blockchain attestation in the same hour.
- Experience producing institutional-grade documentation: whitepapers, regulatory submissions, executive briefings, board-level material.
- Comfort in a high-velocity, founder-led environment with continuous C-suite visibility.
- Fluency in modern marketing analytics and the martech stack.
- Category-creation or category-leadership marketing experience is strongly preferred.
Bonus points
- Working knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks (MiCA, MiFID II, DLT Pilot Regime, eIDAS, AI Act).
- Background in real estate, capital markets, or government technology.
- Experience embedded with AI or blockchain technical teams.
- Familiarity with the Italian deep-tech ecosystem.
