In this role, you lead procurement across multi-disciplinary projects to meet financial and operational goals. You will guide a team, set priorities, and allocate resources to support cross-functional initiatives and policy development. You’d tackle complex technical and organizational challenges that impact project outcomes. The position directly influences project material, equipment, and service delivery, shaping procurement strategy and compliance. Lead the Procurement team and oversee project material, equipment, and service procurement Develop and implement the Project Procurement Execution Strategy for each project Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Interface with other MDR departments and PPMs for procurement matters Manage RFQs, evaluations, and PO awards; resolve terms and conditions issues Monitor procurement activities and provide guidance to the team Coordinate with vendors and lead commercial discussions during preorder Liaise with Legal and Accounts Payable to resolve vendor issues Support post-order activities and monitor market trends Supervise staff performance and ensure training and development Prepare procurement reports and execute tasks under Director- Supply Chain direction Enforce and verify compliance with McDermott policies Ensure timely mandatory training for staff Responsabilità
Engineering graduate with over 15 years of relevant experience Supply chain functional and leadership expertise in oil & gas Strong organizational and business analysis skills Proven ability to lead and deliver project outcomes Experience identifying opportunities and implementing new processes Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Experience leading cross-functional engagement and driving process changes Core business process expertise across functions Experience developing project execution strategies
