Manager / Team Leader In this role you guide project controls across EPFCI projects, applying industry standards to improve efficiency and influence process improvements. You will identify and resolve technical and organizational issues while aligning with policy, budget, and business plans. You’ll lead a team, partner with project managers, and drive cost control and schedule integrity to support the energy delivery mission. This is a strategic role at scale, enabling proactive risk management and value realization across the project lifecycle. Oversee Project Controls activities through the project lifecycle Understand contract requirements for assigned projects Provide planning supervision and direction to the team Collaborate with Project Manager/Director to maintain schedule visibility and mitigation options Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures Establish baselines for schedule and cost with stakeholders and ensure adherence to budgets and contracts Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities to prevent overruns Conduct cost performance reviews and variance analyses with actionable insights Lead and develop a team of Project Controls professionals Coordinate with procurement to evaluate vendor contracts for cost-effectiveness and compliance Ensure adherence to McDermott systems and processes Maintain an integrated Level 3 schedule and manage late/look-ahead reporting Proactively manage schedule and functional deliverables using look-ahead processes Engage with functional managers and critical vendors to detail the project schedule Communicate risk & opportunity strategies across the organization Promote risk management and Opportunity harvesting across projects Support Risk & Opportunity functions and execution risk management activities Roll out project risk & opportunity management program to project teams Maintain monthly risk register updates and mitigation activities Align risk management with project management and cost/schedule risk analyses Ensure compliance with all McDermott policies and mandatory training Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field 14+ years in cost control or project controls within the EPCI industry Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies including EVM, forecasting, and risk analysis Proficient with Primavera P6, SAP, and Excel for data analysis and reporting Excellent analytical skills for complex financial data and actionable insights Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing teams Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Project In this role you guide project controls across EPFCI projects, applying industry standards to improve efficiency and influence process impro… #J-18808-Ljbffr
