Senior Manager – Safety & Operations Management Consulting

Milano, Lombardia, IT – This role is home‑based in Italy but will require frequent client travel, up to 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and manage existing accounts.
• Discover opportunities to improve client safety, productivity and sustainability.
• Lead teams of experienced consultants and subject‑matter experts to identify root causes of client safety and operational challenges and create, communicate and implement solutions.
• Work directly with the client to identify pain points and develop and implement effective solutions.
• Develop work plans for yourself and your team, mobilising them to deliver effectively.
• Help build team capabilities and deliver better value to the client.
• Manage project delivery to ensure the intended benefits are achieved.

Qualifications

• Degree or master’s degree in engineering (or related field).
• Significant experience in management consulting with exposure to safety or operational risk management.
• Deep knowledge of industries such as manufacturing, chemicals, power & utilities or oil & gas, and ability to sell complex operations consulting services to C‑level clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse and remote teams of consultants and deliver complex projects end‑to‑end for small or large engagements.
• Thought‑leader with strong communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to guide clients and create talking points.
• Fluent Italian and business English; comfort communicating with diverse cultures and nationalities.
