Posizione



  • Design mechanical equipment from conceptual stage to detailed drawings and support design with necessary calculations (stress analysis and by formula)

  • Develop 3D CAD model of mechanical equipment, prepare 2D drawings from 3D model

  • Perform the structural calculation and issue the relative deliverable

  • Develop purchasing technical documentation, guarantee the technical evaluation of the Supplier’s offers and the technical follow-up of the supplies

  • Supervise the fabrication, the factory acceptance tests, the on-site installation and the testing activities

  • Ensure compliance to the procedures and practices of QHSE Management System and of the Organizational Model


Requisiti



  • Master degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Naval, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or similar.

  • At least 10 years’ experience in an Engineering Unit in industrial mechanical design companies or workshop in one or more of the following fields:

  • complex machines, mechanisms and robotics applications for industrial sector

  • manufacturing and assembly of complex mechanical components

  • Experience of engineering aspects related to design, fabrication and assembly of components and mechanism

  • Experience of engineering aspects related to manufacturing design, fabrication and assembly of complex machines

  • Experience in a nuclear or other highly regulated environment and good understanding of safety aspects would be a definite advantage

  • Knowledge of fabrication aspects, understanding of welding and non-destructive testing topics on complex machines

  • Knowledge of on-board systems integration, power and instrumentation devices and network on complex machines

  • Experience in the application of specific construction codes (e.g. ASME, RCC-M and/or EURO codes) would be an asset

  • Good knowledge of CREO / CATIA V5 for 3D/2D Modelling, and ANSYS Multiphysics for Structural Analysis purpose

  • Spirit of initiative, curiosity and passion for tecnologia e innovazione

  • Good critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent command of written and spoken English.
