Senior National Planning Expert (Cat. I)

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Technical Assistance to the PNG Department of National Planning and Monitoring on EU Development Cooperation and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to support the Department of National Planning and Monitoring on the identification, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EU development cooperation.

Duration: The indicative start date is 01/09/2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 16 Month(s) from this date (indicative end date: 01/01/2027 ).

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Key Expert: Senior National Planning Expert (Cat. I)

☝️ Qualifications and skills:

• Post-graduate degree in Economics, Planning, Business Administration or in a relevant field.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both in written and spoken English.

☝️ General professional experience:

• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in EU development cooperation.

☝️ Specific professional experience:

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in supporting identification, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EU development cooperation.
• Track record as Team Leader.
• Proven experience in developing countries.
• Experience in PNG and in the Pacific region is considered an asset.
