Senior Payroll Specialist

The role aims to lead and coordinate daily HR administration across multiple European countries, ensuring efficient and consistent processes while overseeing accurate and compliant multi-country payroll operations.
It also contributes to the development of the HR function by supporting international projects and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic, growing organization.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Manage the full employee life cycle (hiring, contract management, changes, terminations) across several European countries
- Review and validate payroll flows handled by external providers such as ADP, including inputs, outputs, and compliance documentation
- Track attendance, absences, leave, and documentation related to sickness, maternity, holidays, and workplace accidents
- Serve as the primary point of contact for European employees on HR administration and payroll matters
- Oversee Time & Attendance systems and ensure proper integration with payroll processes
- Provide reporting, analysis, and KPIs to support HR Business Partners and local teams.
Requirements
Must have
- At least 5 years of solid experience in HR administration and payroll, ideally in a coordinating or multi-country role.
- Strong knowledge of labor regulations, especially Italian labor law (experience with the CCNL Commercio is highly valued).
- Familiarity with international payroll providers (e.g., ADP)
- Proficiency with HRIS and data management tools (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Workforce Software)
- High accuracy, organizational skills, discretion, and strong decision-making abilities.
