Are you an experienced Project Planner, Planning Engineer or Project Controls professional with strong hands-on experience of Primavera P6 , Microsoft Project and complex EPC / engineering project environments?
This is an opportunity to move into a senior client-facing consulting role with an international software company providing digital project planning and project controls solutions to customers in the marine, process, construction, engineering and EPC sectors.
We are looking for someone who understands how complex projects are planned, controlled and monitored in real life — not just someone who has used project management software occasionally.
You will work with customers to help them implement, configure and get maximum value from advanced project planning software integrated with Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project .

What you will do
You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them improve how they plan, monitor and control complex projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting customers with the implementation and configuration of project planning software.
- Working with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project in complex engineering, EPC, construction, marine or process industry environments.
- Advising customers on CPM planning, schedule quality, progress monitoring, weighting systems and project controls processes.
- Delivering product demonstrations, training and advanced user guidance.
- Supporting pre-sales activities by bringing technical and planning expertise to customer discussions.
- Translating customer needs into practical product feedback and software improvement ideas.
- Building strong relationships with senior technical and project stakeholders.
Essential experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 .
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project .
- Experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls .
- Exposure to complex project environments such as EPC, engineering, construction, marine, oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, industrial plants or process industries .
- Understanding of CPM planning, baseline schedules, progress tracking, schedule quality and project controls principles .
- Strong communication skills in Italian and English .
- The ability to work with customers in a consultative, practical and solution-oriented way.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing or supporting planning/project controls software.
- Previous experience in a client-facing consulting, application specialist, customer success or pre-sales role.
- Experience working with international customers.
- Knowledge of integrations between Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and other project management systems.
