Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Process Design activities during project execution phase in compliance with time, quality and budget requirements
  • Carry out process analysis and simulations to evaluate the efficiency of the processes
  • Prepare Heat Material Balance Sheets
  • Create Process Flow Diagrams and Process Piping &Instrumentation Diagrams
  • Equipment sizing;
  • Equipment and Instrumentation Process datasheet compilation
  • Knowledge of international best practices and engineering standards
  • Definition and sizing of lines
  • PSV, Control Valves calculation and sizing
  • HazOp, HazId support
  • Prepare Process Specifications for Request for Quotation (RfQ) and provide support for the technical process compliance
  • Assistance to the various disciplines for the development of detailed design
  • Carry out feasibility analyses
  • Ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of the plants
  • Verify compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards


Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in chemical engineering, from 5 to 10 years of experience in similar roles, good management skills of personnel and aptitude for learning chemical processes and production activities
  • Advanced knowledge of production processes, production methods and technologies
  • Skills in the use of process simulation software (ASPEN, HYSYS, others)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD basic features
  • Excellent use of MS Office system (especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point)


Experience

  • Proven professional experience in the chemical, petrochemical, refining or fuel sectors, with involvement or exposure to sustainability initiatives (i.e. strategic business repositioning, access to new sustainable technologies) or special projects concerning circular economy or energy transition.
  • Proven experience developing Feasibility, process Design Packages, Basic Design Packages, FEED and EPC Projects
