Senior Project Engineer – Carbon Fiber Exterior Components

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the development of carbon fiber body components within a premium automotive vehicle development program in TURIN (Italy).

The role covers the complete engineering lifecycle, from feasibility and concept convergence through tooling release, validation and production launch, acting as the technical interface between suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering development of carbon fiber exterior components.
• Coordinate suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Lead technical convergence and project review meetings.
• Create and maintain Technical Specifications.
• Develop and maintain DFMEA documentation.
• Create and maintain System and Component DVPs.
• Manage Engineering Releases and Engineering Changes.
• Support concern resolution throughout development and validation.
• Manage component timing and project milestones.
• Maintain Engineering BOM and related documentation.
• Support quotation technical analysis together with Purchasing.
• Support prototype builds and production launch activities.
• Prepare weekly project reports and technical documentation.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product development.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Carbon Fiber Components
• Exterior Trim
• BIW
• Vehicle Structure
• Experience coordinating suppliers.
• Experience leading technical development activities.
• Knowledge of complete automotive development processes from feasibility through SOP.
• Good understanding of Platform Layout.
• English fluent_B2 or higher.
