Senior project manager

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Renewables team in Milan, part of our Italian subsidiary.

Summary

As PV Project Manager, you are responsible to manage the different large-scale Italian PV projects assigned to you in the construction stage of the project, supporting in early development stage and take the lead from the RTB status until the handover of the project after construction and commissioning is successfully achieved, maintaining the HSE KPI below our corporate targets, while adhering to the quality, timelines and cost in the contract.

Your role will encompass:

• Managing a project from authorization to completion, ensuring that it is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

• Work closely with the permitting & engineering team to review all project documents and information provided by client/developer

• Assist the Project Director with the preparation of the project budget

• Develop a detailed programme of works (PoW) to track progress

• Preparation of suppliers'and subcontractors' contracts

• Managing project implementation activities, ensuring QHSE standards are met

• Handover of the project to the internal O&M team

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring all project objectives are met.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are controlled.
• Review the technical, administrative, and legal documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering or construction or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of prior experience in construction of power plants, 5 years in the PV energy from a construction perspective in Italy, from an EPC, IPP, DNO or similar company to Enerland
• Proven track record of managing large-scale renewable energy projects in the solar PV industry from LNTP/NTP to PAC.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Previous experiences in secondary permitting of renewable projects in Italy.
• Knowledgeable of the environmental and permitting regulation and planning.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project & MS Office, AutoCAD, PVSyst.
• Certification in PMP/ MBA is considered an advantage
• Fluent in Italian and in English (verbal & writing).
• Fluent in Spanish is considered an advantage

Mandatory requirements:

The candidate MUST HAVE:

• Experience of managing the entire process of construction of large-scale renewable energy projects, at least one project bigger than 15MW, cumulatively more than 50MW, from RTB to PAC.
• Fluent in Italian and in English (verbal & writing).
