Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Remediation Engineer with experience in project management, design, installation, operation, and maintenance of remediation systems for contaminated soil and groundwater.

Our teams work on complex remediation projects, leveraging resources across the company to support project needs. By joining our team, you will work on diverse projects that challenge you technically and allow collaboration with experienced senior professionals, fostering your growth in the industry.

The appointed person will have a key role in the team, with responsibilities including:

  • Managing and developing remediation proposals and projects, considering all environmental aspects, regulations, and staffing;
  • Conducting remedial alternatives analysis;
  • Overseeing project budgets and conducting cost-benefit analyses;
  • Coordinating and appointing subcontractors;
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations;
  • Training staff on remediation systems;
  • Building sustainable relationships to meet business development goals;
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and sharing lessons learned;
  • Promoting health, safety, and quality management;
  • Maintaining effective communication with the project team and clients.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a multinational company;
  • Fluency in Italian and English;
  • Technical skills in process-oriented and sampling tasks;
  • Ability to stay updated with legislation and compliance requirements;
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs;
  • Motivated, with the initiative to work independently or in a team;
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills;
  • Willingness to travel nationally for site visits;
  • Open, honest, and professional attitude;
  • Industry background and consulting experience are advantageous;
  • Valid driver’s license for Italy is essential.
