The Role:
This role holds full commercial responsibility for driving sales of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors. The Senior Sales Manager will focus on developing and managing relationships with EPCs, installers, and channel partners, identifying new business opportunities, and executing market expansion strategies. Operating with a high level of autonomy, the role involves both direct sales and strategic input into go-to-market planning. The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong regional presence and contribute to shaping the company’s commercial structure.
There is clear progression to Sales Director , with the opportunity to take full ownership of the national sales strategy and expand the sales team as the business scales.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in sales or business development roles within the renewable energy or energy storage sectors
- Strong network of EPCs, installers, and channel partners across Italy
- Experience selling into both residential and commercial segments
- Demonstrated ability to drive market entry or expansion initiatives
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-focused environment
- Fluent in Italian and English
