Role Description
Company Description
Dexmond Technologies Ltd
is an
Ireland-based, Pre-Seed startup
building secure, high-assurance AI automation for critical sectors including aviation, automotive, finance, and cybersecurity. Backed and supported by
Enterprise Ireland , we are positioned for high-growth success in high-risk, heavily regulated domains. At the core of our platform is www.dexmond.com/krittr , our proprietary neuroevolution engine that evolves intelligence autonomously rather than relying on standard static training models. Our product portfolio spans AI-driven threat detection, penetration testing suites, automated file encryption, autonomous flight and vehicle controls, and enterprise orchestration delivering deterministic, fully auditable outputs. Built on GDPR-native, zero-trust, and fully sovereign principles, Dexmond guarantees that client data and mission-critical logic remain under total control. The
Senior Security Engineer
role is available as a
Hybrid or Fully Remote position based in Ireland
(due to local employment constraints) or as an
EU-based Consulting engagement . This is not a standard engineering position.

and you will realize the sheer scale of what we are building.
We are asking for a massive, multi-disciplinary tech stack across zero-trust security, AI resilience, autonomous systems, and infrastructure. Frankly, this is a role that
only a true technical monster could take on . You will need to want a complete new adventure—one that will be long, intense, and hard. But with our foundational technology and the backing of Enterprise Ireland, we have everything in place to succeed. In this role, you will act as the primary security authority for Dexmond’s core infrastructure and AI platforms, leading the end-to-end security design, threat modeling, and posture review of our autonomous systems. Key Responsibilities
AI & Platform Threat Modeling:
Perform deep threat modeling and vulnerability assessments tailored to dynamic AI architectures, neuroevolution pipelines (Krittr), and autonomous system control loops. Secure Architecture & Zero-Trust Design:
Build, enforce, and audit secure-by-design patterns and zero-trust policies across hybrid, edge, and cloud-connected platforms. Adversarial & Application Security:
Establish application security standards across APIs, microservices, and file encryption suites. Identify and mitigate risks specific to AI, such as model poisoning, prompt/logic manipulation, and inference exploits. Offensive Security & Pen-Testing Coordination:
Oversee external penetration testing and internal offensive security routines across enterprise orchestration suites and autonomous vehicle/flight codebases. Compliance & Sovereignty Governance:
Ensure platform alignment with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, and domain-specific regulations for high-assurance sectors. Technical Leadership & Remediation:
Guide cross-functional teams through vulnerability remediation, triage security alerts, and mentor engineers on defensive coding and sovereign data handling. Qualifications & Location Requirements
Location & Eligibility
Employment:
Must be based in Ireland (Hybrid or Fully Remote). Consulting:
Open to EU-based independent contractors / security consultants. Technical Expertise
Core Security Engineering:
Proven experience designing, hardening, and reviewing security controls for distributed systems, edge devices, or high-assurance environments. Application & API Security:
Strong proficiency in secure coding practices, API security, and vulnerability management tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, Dependency Scanning). AI & Emerging Threat Expertise:
Familiarity with AI/ML security concepts (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs/AI, adversarial ML, deterministic output validation, or secure model deployment). Network & Systems Infrastructure:
Deep understanding of zero-trust architecture, network segmentation, firewalls, container security (Kubernetes/Docker), and cloud/hybrid isolation. Governance & Standards:
Functional knowledge of risk management frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF) and privacy requirements (GDPR, sovereign data practices). Mindset:
Start-up tenacity, resilience, and the drive to build high-assurance platform architecture from the ground up. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CASE) or background in high-risk sectors (automotive, aviation, finance) are a major plus. Because this role is so demanding and critical to our core mission,
we will spend a significant amount of time talking, exchanging ideas, and building mutual understanding before making a final hiring decision . We need to make absolute sure that this is the right fit. Dexmond needs 2 of you and 2 webdevs.
