Role and Responsibilities

A Senior Software Analyst is responsible for evaluating, designing, and improving software solutions to meet business needs.

  • Gather and analyze user requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers to define system functionalities.
  • Ensure software aligns with organizational goals.
  • Document processes and perform system testing.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • Medium expertise in Python and SQL for data manipulation, with basic knowledge of statistical modeling and algorithms relevant to risk management.
  • Good understanding of database structures and financial data architecture.
  • Knowledge of at least one among credit, market, and liquidity risk is preferred.
  • Familiarity with advanced risk models such as Value‑at‑Risk and Expected Credit Loss is appreciated.
  • Ability to collect and document user requirements for financial risk management systems.

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in software analysis, preferably in financial risk management within the banking sector.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams, ensuring project milestones and mentoring junior analysts.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise documentation (business requirements, functional specifications, methodological documentation, marketing/strategic documentation).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication with internal teams, external stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with developers, risk managers and other stakeholders.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and focus on identifying discrepancies and finding the right solutions.
