Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an R&D software team working on advanced, safety-critical systems. This role involves hands-on software development as well as technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contribution to high-quality, regulated products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test C++ software based on defined requirements and architecture
• Contribute to software requirements, design documentation, and code reviews
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues
• Participate in quality activities such as risk analysis, testing, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Lead technical tasks, mentor team members, and provide engineering guidance
• Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience, including experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive, defense)
• Strong proficiency in C++ and modern development environments
• Experience developing software that interfaces with hardware
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
