Senior Solutions Architect, AGS NOLA SA Caribe

AWS is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Caribbean team, working with enterprise customers across the full breadth of their cloud journey. You'll help customers migrate to the cloud, modernize legacy applications and databases, build cloud-native solutions, and explore how GenAI & Agentic AI can drive their business forward.

Key job responsibilities:

• Partner with enterprise customers to design, build, and implement solutions across cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and new workloads.
• Work hands‑on with customer teams—building prototypes, proofs of concept, and production‑ready architectures together.
• Assess legacy applications and databases, and co‑create practical modernization roadmaps that reduce technical debt and enable innovation.
• Guide customers through cloud migrations—helping them move workloads efficiently and securely.
• Help customers explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance their applications, operations, and customer experiences.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives involving cross‑functional collaboration, with strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of common architectural patterns and cloud‑native design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
• Experience with analytics, security, storage, DevOps, application development, or machine learning.
• Curiosity & experimentation with AI and emerging technologies, and experience helping customers evaluate or implement AI/ML solutions.
