Senior Strategic Program Manager

Context: We are looking for a Senior Strategic Program Manager to drive our most critical, cross‑functional initiatives. Reporting directly to the COO, this role sits at the heart of execution, ensuring that high‑impact programs – from transformation initiatives to post‑merger integrations – are delivered with excellence.

You will act as a central orchestrator across leadership teams, bringing clarity to complex challenges, ensuring alignment, and enabling fast, high‑quality decision‑making.

Strategic Program Leadership

• Lead high-priority programs end-to-end, from definition to successful delivery
• Define scope, ownership, governance, and success metrics
• Monitor progress, dependencies, and risks across initiatives

Executive Governance & Visibility

• Provide decision-ready insights to COO and ExCom
• Drive governance routines (SteerCos, executive reviews, escalations)
• Ensure decisions are clearly documented and executed
• Partner with PMO to apply and improve standards, KPIs, and reporting

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Mobilize and lead task forces across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and HR
• Align stakeholders and remove blockers in fast‑paced environments
• Drive momentum and accountability across teams

Post‑Merger Integration

• Lead integration planning and execution when required
• Coordinate workstreams and track value realization
• Ensure business continuity for teams, customers, and operations

Key Skills and Requirements

• 8–12+ years in program management, transformation, or portfolio management
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives
• Experience working with executive stakeholders (C-level exposure)
• Strong background in post‑merger integration
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or consulting environments
• Program and portfolio governance
• Executive communication and reporting
• Risk identification and issue resolution
• Stakeholder alignment at scale
• Proficient in English, both in written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Italian, both in written and verbal communication
• French is a plus
