Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead supplier quality to ensure customer and regulatory compliance, driving preventive improvements in supplier processes and supporting sourcing and engineering to achieve near‑zero defects. You will collaborate across sourcing, design, and production to assess design‑to‑manufacturing quality and ensure Flight Deck‑driven transformation. This is a strategic, hands‑on position shaping quality across supplier networks in a high‑stakes aerospace environment.

  • Develop and implement breakthrough process improvements using Flight Deck principles (e.g., Hoshin Kanri)
  • Act as senior advisor in Hoshin Kanri and lean development with strategic suppliers
  • Oversee resolution of shop issues and rapid containment of non‑conformities
  • Lead Supplier Quality KPIs through advanced standard work
  • Represent supplier quality in production planning meetings with actionable insights
  • Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving for internal scraps and supplier escapes with root cause analysis and lessons learned
  • Make critical decisions to stop production for uncontained off‑spec parts
  • Act as gatekeeper for scrap assets and supplier‑related parts management
  • Lead advanced risk assessments (PFMEA, PQA) to ensure compliance
  • Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements using advanced statistics
  • Drive lessons learned deployment (Yokoten) across the organization

Responsabilità

  • Master's Degree in Engineering
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance in complex manufacturing
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical processes
  • Deep aerospace standards and customer‑specific requirements expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of aerospace materials
  • Certified auditor with testing and auditing experience
  • Expert in GD&T
  • Proven expertise in PDCA/A3, Ishikawa, SIPOC, APQP/PPAP, SPC, MSA
  • Knowledge of complex manufacturing processes: assembly, machining, electronics, welding, sheet metal forming, heat treatment
  • Willingness to travel ≥50%
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Work visa as required
