The JMETC user support team seeks a Systems Engineer with a background in Digital Engineering to lead the TRMC Digital Engineering project, establishing a Digital Engineering environment called Golden Forge for the Test and Evaluation community. The applicant will work with a distributed team to develop the required environment and artifacts leveraging Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, and will serve as a liaison between end users, application developers, and senior leadership within the DoD and Test and Training community.
Responsibilities include planning and coordinating technical support for the Test Resource Management Center Data Strategy, monitoring and supporting pursuit of opportunities, defining requirements, developing specifications, and managing timelines and milestones. The role requires supervisory experience and the ability to work with military acquisition programs.
The JMETC program focuses on developing processes, architecture, and knowledge management to facilitate cost-effective integration of live, virtual, and constructive entities to support DoD testing needs using a distributed testing approach, with systems like TENA and CHEETAS supporting testing within a joint mission context.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering or Systems Engineering
- Minimum 20 years of experience, including:
- Experience identifying and communicating best practices
- Experience with MBSE
- Experience working with OUSD (R&E) and TRMC
- Knowledge of military or space acquisition programs
- Experience with Capabilities Based T&E
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of Hackathon processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills

Basic Compensation : $190,000 - $225,000 (range applicable for Maryland area only). The final rate will depend on the candidate's skills, knowledge, experience, and internal parity.
