The Senior Technical Program Manager in Amazon Compliance Services will lead technology compliance initiatives across multiple organizations, impacting every person buying, selling, or handling Amazon products. The role involves coordinating across engineering teams, business stakeholders, and legal and regulatory partners in multiple geographies and owning the full lifecycle of complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, business, legal, and regulatory teams across multiple geographies.
• Own the full lifecycle of compliance initiatives: requirements definition, roadmap development, dependency management, and outcome measurement.
• Design and deliver scalable, reusable compliance products that enable Amazon to demonstrate adherence to evolving global regulations.
• Operate at the intersection of engineering, operations, legal, and policy to influence and align senior stakeholders across functions.

About the team

Compliance Shared Services (CoSS) develops pluggable, reusable services that provide a best‑in‑class experience for sellers and vendors. The team builds configuration‑driven solutions that scale to millions of sellers, SKUs, and de‑risk multi‑billion dollar business segments.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in software development.
• Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience in system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
