Senior Technical Program Manager – IET Cordant Digital Delivery

Baker Hughes is an energy technology company. In this role, you will lead enterprise‑scale subscription management transformation across the Cordant portfolio and broader IET/Baker Hughes digital ecosystem.

The role sits within the Cordant Digital Technology Enablement organization and partners closely with Product, Commercial, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, ERP, and external partners to deliver business‑critical outcomes at Baker Hughes enterprise level.

Responsibilities

  • Subscription management strategy & solutioning: lead definition and execution of subscription management and digital monetization solutions, covering Quote, Order, Renewals, Upsell/Cross‑sell, Software entitlement & licensing, Billing, revenue recognition, and ARR analytics.
  • Support software product API monetization and drive a scalable, repeatable Quote‑to‑Cash architecture applicable across Baker Hughes digital businesses.
  • Translate business growth objectives into executable digital programs and roadmaps.
  • Lead cross‑functional programs involving Product Management & Engineering, Commercial Operations & Sales Ops, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, Security and Compliance.
  • Establish program governance, dependency management, and decision forums at senior stakeholder level.
  • Serve as single‑threaded leader accountable for outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance and Data teams to enable accurate ARR tracking, forecasting, subscription lifecycle analytics, and revenue insights.
  • Ensure digital solutions support enterprise financial transparency and auditability.
  • Drive end‑to‑end delivery from concept to go‑live and scaled adoption, managing program plans, risks, dependencies, and value realization.
  • Ensure alignment with Baker Hughes digital, security, and enterprise architecture standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Systems delivery.
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional digital programs spanning multiple business functions.
  • Strong understanding of Quote‑to‑Cash, Order‑to‑Revenue, or Subscription business models.
  • Experience working with or integrating enterprise platforms such as ERP (e.g., SAP), CRM/CPQ (e.g., Salesforce, BigMachines), and Licensing / Entitlement platforms (e.g., Flexera Revenera).
  • Ability to operate at enterprise and executive stakeholder level with strong communication and influence skills.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills; demonstrated problem‑solving ability.
  • Self‑driven, exploratory mindset, and ability to explore alternate technologies and approaches.
  • Ability to work well with global teams and across time zones.

Preferred / Differentiating Experience

  • Experience with subscription management, recurring revenue, or SaaS monetization models.
  • Exposure to financial analytics, ARR metrics, or revenue lifecycle reporting.
  • Experience working with ISV partners and third‑party vendors.
  • Background in energy, industrial, or complex B2B software environments.
  • Experience scaling solutions across multiple business units or global organizations.
