About The Role
Overview: The Senior Technical Specialist within the Industrial Services Division oversees technical and operational activities, ensuring alignment with quality standards and technical protocols, reporting to the Quality and Technical Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight
- Supervise inspection operations and review inspection reports.
- Implement guidelines and safety protocols.
- Manage client relationships and resolve technical issues.
- Process Improvement
- Collaborate with the Quality and Technical Manager to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Support technical bidding phases and identify specialized resources for projects.
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support annual audits and maintain compliance with ISO17020 and ISO9001 standards.
Specific Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervision of Inspectors Validation and Profiles Maintenance
- Oversee inspectors' profiles and manage onboarding approval processes aligned with Internal Service Instructions and Clients’ requisites, preparing and performing technical interviews.
- Inspection Coordination Team Support
- Address client clarification requests and provide technical clarifications.
- Review of the inspection documents like applicable ITP, Inspection procedures, drawings, manufacturing schedule, etc.
- Support on expediting activities.
- Offer technical assistance and support to inspectors in daily tasks.
- Conduct inspections when necessary.
- Technical Review of Inspection Reports
- Review inspection reports.
- Auditing Support
- Assist during annual audits and ensure compliance with standards.
- Remote Inspection
- Train global inspectors on remote inspection procedures and conduct remote inspections.
- Technical Bid Support
- Assist bid managers and analyze Project Technical Specifications.
- Propose skilled resources and gather inspector profiles.
- GLIS QA System
- Develop internal operational procedures and support audits.
- Conduct root cause analysis and issue corrective actions.
- Support to Energy System Department
- Review supplier procedures and perform inspections on critical equipment.
- Trainings
- Prepare and deliver technical training materials and sessions.
- Facilitate attendance and follow-up on required trainings.
- Key Client Direct Point of Contact
- Manage Key Client audits and client technical issues.
- Validate resources for Key Client projects.

About You
Minimum Educational Qualifications and Years of Experiences:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field.
Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in English.
- Technical expertise in O&G, power, and renewable energy fields.
- Knowledge of major industrial standards (e.g., EN 10204, ASTM, ASME, API, IEC, etc.) and DNV standards (e.g. DNV ST F101, etc.).
- Proficiency in NDT and Welding.
- Strong collaborative skills.
