WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US
For the Testing Services department, we are hiring a Senior Testing Services Consultant who is a skilled professional in areas of testing engineering and operation of SaaS solutions with focus on continuous testing, efficiency, test automation and innovations to ensure reliable service delivery to SimCorp clients.
You will have a great opportunity to use your test expertise to contribute globally to delivering, development and optimization of our services (Continuous Testing and Conventional Upgrade).
Success in this role means the Senior Testing Services Consultant will consistently support and promote continuous learning and improvement practices based on Agile & Lean methodology and DevOps practices, employ creative and innovative approaches in testing with AI applications, and collaborate with local and global teams within SimCorp.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Analyze client requirements and with minimal supervision design well‑structured manual and automated test cases.
- Validate solution behavior across upgrades and implementations, ensuring seamless integration into existing client environments.
- Report detected deviations and drive them through the full defect lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and support cross‑unit alignment to remove delivery impediments.
- Engage in scheduled meetings with clients to clarify questions and report on testing status.
- Engage in relevant Communities of Practice (CoPs).
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within and across teams through ad‑hoc coaching and training sessions.

- Understanding of software implementation and upgrade processes, STLC, incident management, and standard test deliverables.
- 3–5+ years of experience in testing, business analysis, or consulting on complex systems, in the financial domain.
- Experience working within Agile practices and frameworks.
- Experience working in the financial domain, such as testing, business analysis, consulting, or audit of financial systems or processes.
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and ability to support automation and innovation (including AI) initiatives.
- Proficient in data analysis; ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
- ISTQB (or equivalent) certification.
- Upper‑intermediate English.
- Methodical approach and a solution‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in cross‑functional teams.
- Good at keeping deadlines and working within a tight time schedule.
- Highly motivated, aiming to fulfill and uplift assigned objectives.
- Self‑motivated, persistent, and effective at rapidly acquiring new knowledge.
