Who we are looking for:
As a Senior Service Engineering Specialist, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end management of complex installation projects, with a particular focus on Siemens-based automation systems. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will coordinate all technical activities, both internal and external, from system configuration and on-site installation to client support and final validation.
As a key project leader and technical point of reference, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration of our solutions within industrial environments.
Few examples of responsibilities:
- Project ownership : Take full ownership of complex installation projects based on Siemens technology, coordinating both internal teams and external suppliers/partners. Ensure planning, execution, and delivery are carried out autonomously, on time and within scope.
- Technical leadership : Lead and execute system installation, testing, and troubleshooting activities, ensuring high technical standards and customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Field operations : Manage on-site service operations, acting as the primary technical point of contact for the customer and ensuring seamless coordination across all involved parties.
- Client support & integration : Guide clients through the adoption and integration of our solutions into their production systems, ensuring proper configuration and operational readiness.
- Process development : Actively contribute to the development and refinement of internal service procedures, diagnostic protocols, and standard technical documentation.
Ideal Background:
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical field)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical or mechatronic roles within the automation, robotics, or industrial machinery sectors
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex technical projects, from planning to execution and customer delivery
- Strong hands-on experience with ABB robotic systems and controllers is highly valued
- Proficiency with Siemens technologies, with proven ability to integrate these systems into complex automation environments
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer is considered a strong plus
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German and/or Italian is considered a plus
