Role Description
- We are looking for a Service Manager / Technical Team Leader to lead and evolve the NOC, combining telecom engineering expertise with AI-driven operations (AIOps) .
- This role will act as the technical anchor (L2/L3) for the NOC team while driving the introduction of Machine Learning and AI solutions to enhance monitoring, incident management, and predictive operations.
- This is a high-impact role for someone who combines technical depth, leadership, and a strong innovation mindset .
Key Responsibilities
- Act as L2/L3 technical lead for NOC operations
- Improve performance, incident resolution, and service quality
- Define and execute the AI/AIOps strategy for operations
- Evaluate and implement monitoring platforms and AI tools in a multi-vendor environment
- Integrate AI solutions with monitoring, ticketing, CMDB, and network systems
- Work closely with the NOC team to Train and refine ML models using operational data and knowledge bases
- Enable AI-assisted decision support for incident management and troubleshooting
- Build and maintain knowledge bases and operational procedures
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical documentation and reporting
- Interface with international clients and partners
Qualifications
- Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in telecommunications technologies
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Eligibility to work with public sector entities in Italy
Location & Travel
- Based in Scalo Milano (South Milan)
- Hybrid working available
- Occasional short business trips (1–3 days) within Europe

- 5+ years Experienced Telecom Engineer with hands-on exposure to NOC environments, satellite or cellular networks
- Proven ability to operate as an L2/L3 technical expert and lead operational teams
- Strong interest or experience in AI/ML, AIOps, or advanced monitoring platforms
- Skilled in improving incident management, performance, and operational efficiency
- Comfortable working in multi-vendor, complex telecom environments
- Candidate to already have Work Permit & Not need Sponsorship
