ServiceNow Frontend Developer

As a Snow application development Specialist you will be a key member of the MSC’s Service Management team. You will exercise your expertise in engineering, architecture, and design, to work on the ServiceNow platform tool to analyse, define, create, maintain new applications/projects, assist the team, and work with our Indian team.

Role And Key Responsibilities

• Analyse different requests/projects to propose solutions to implement them in ServiceNow.
• Assist the team leader on various tasks such as project and team management, business analysis.
• Support the existing process and application and help them evolve.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to deliver engaging and consistent solutions.
• Take charge of projects on the ServiceNow tool to create new applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code and assist in maintaining and optimizing frameworks, libraries and plugins.
• Communicate technical decisions (architecture and design) to business and engineering.
• Research solutions.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with security and quality aspects described in related Corporate Standard Operating Procedures.
• Pro‑actively communicate relevant opportunities, risks, and issues to the ITSM team.
• Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in designing & implementing highly interactive user interfaces for web applications.
• Good knowledge of ServiceNow and previous experience on ServiceNow.
• Exceptional JavaScript programming skills.
• Experience working with the following JavaScript libraries: AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery and Prototype.
• Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation.
• Deep knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, REST and associated frameworks.
• Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem‑solving skills.
