Role: Shoes Industrialization Operations Specialist

Reports to: Shoes Industrialization Manager

Location: Fiesso D’Artico (ITALY)

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Industrialization Manager, the Industrialization Operations Specialist supports the industrialization process for the Shoes category, ensuring technical consistency, product conformity, quality compliance, and smooth coordination between Product Development, Industrialization, Production, Quality, Compliance, and external vendors.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, precision, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset to ensure accurate management of industrialization activities, technical documentation, testing follow-up, BOM updates, and communication flow throughout the product lifecycle.

The Specialist will play a key role in guaranteeing alignment between development requirements, production feasibility, quality standards, and industrialization timelines, supporting the successful transition from Product Development to Production.



MAIN RESPONSABILITIES


Industrialization & Technical Coordination

  • Support the industrialization process for assigned collections, ensuring proper coordination between Product Development, Technical Office, Production, Quality, Compliance, and vendors.
  • Prepare and manage all technical review sheets following industrialization meetings, ensuring accurate communication and follow-up with vendors.
  • Manage the industrialization pair request list (INDUS, fitting trials, pre-conformity, conformity, and quality validation), ensuring timely follow-up with vendors to meet target deadlines.
  • Coordinate the ordering of components and materials required by vendors to proceed with industrialization activities.
  • Support the validation process of pre-conformity samples, ensuring alignment with technical and quality standards before production launch.


Quality, Compliance & Testing Management

  • Organize and create handover documentation for Quality, Compliance, Production, and After-Sales teams, including file updates, technical information packages, and disclaimer definitions.
  • Define, together with the Quality Manager, all required quality and compliance tests for assigned products and ensure proper follow-up throughout the validation process.
  • Coordinate the ordering and shipment of components, materials, and shoes to the Getafe Compliance team or external laboratories for quality and compliance testing.
  • Participate in weekly alignment meetings with Quality and Compliance teams to monitor progress, testing status, and product validation activities.
  • Review all testing results and proactively alert Quality, Industrialization, and Production teams in case of quality issues, technical risks, or non-conformities.


BOM, PLM & Technical Data Accuracy

  • Perform BOM control activities for pre-buy and production phases, anticipating missing lines, technical inconsistencies, or required modifications in close collaboration with the Technical Office, Product Development, and Industrialization teams.
  • Ensure all BOM updates, technical changes, and engineering modifications are accurately communicated and shared with vendors and all relevant stakeholders throughout the industrialization process.
  • Support technical data consistency and alignment between PLM, technical sheets, industrialization documents, and production requirements.
  • Monitor and validate the accuracy of technical information related to materials, components, structures, and accessories used during industrialization and production phases.


Color & Material Industrialization

  • Launch and follow up on all color adjustments related to structures and accessories for production, ensuring compliance with approved standards and industrialization timing.
  • Coordinate weekly follow-up meetings with suppliers regarding material industrialization progress, ensuring alignment with development and production calendars.
  • Validate and create master colors for all components, ensuring correct distribution and alignment with Fiesso, Paris teams, Quality Control, vendors, and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency and conformity of materials, colors, structures, and accessories throughout industrialization and production processes.


Operational & Supplier Management

  • Maintain regular communication with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely execution of industrialization activities and resolution of technical or material-related issues.
  • Create Purchase Orders and monitor supplier invoices, ensuring correct administrative follow-up and alignment with procurement procedures.
  • Support cross-functional teams in managing production readiness, technical issue resolution, and industrialization planning activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to industrialization processes, technical coordination, and supplier management.



THE CANDIDATE

  • Academic background, preferably with a specialization related to footwear products.
  • Previous experience (approximately 3–5 years) in supporting industrialization, component purchasing, or coordination within the footwear sector.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proven knowledge of PLM and ERP systems, with excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
